Great game, Vipers! You played your hearts out and did so in the hot hot sun with no real break. We are very proud of you, and we know your parents are too. We have a few adjustments that we need to make before the next game, which is in Wetumpka. Thankfully, we have two weeks of practice during which to make those adjustments, which will allow for you to get comfortable with the new lineup.
We know that the coaches got pretty worked up today...as we normally do. We hope you know that we do so in SUPPORT of your efforts. We want each and everyone of you to do your best, and we get extremely frustrated when we see missed calls and fouls. We don't want you putting forth all that effort for nothing! That said, I promise I will turn it down a notch...I cannot speak for Coach Yaser!
Hope you all enjoyed the game and that the rest of your weekend is filled with fun! Just FYI, Sunday and Monday are Sri Lankan New Year. If any of you would like to know more about it, let me know.
